When children are young we often remind them the concept of good manners. Like saying Thank You and Please when asking for something...Like Water or even food. Simple words and gestures that demonstrate politeness along with helping them have a harmonious dialog and interaction with others.
Couples, sometimes need to be reminded of these simple routines that show the same consideration from the first date on to the rest of your life.
This turns out to be so romantic to couples because it only means you are always in your best behaviour, treating each other with decency and respect. Every action, gesture, and words indicate that they value, love and appreciate each other.
Practicing these behaviours require thought process and effort, but its interesting to know and understand that good manners don't come with naturally, they must be learned and practiced.
Children think of them first before acting because they are constantly reminded. Us Adults, tend to forget the basic rules and tend to incline ourselves to the other direction.
As humans we tent t5o sometimes indulge in selfish, disrespectful, and immature behaviour, that only lead to hurting your partners feelings, and the other's resentment.
No one likes to be treated rudely, or taken for granted. Therefore, show your partner DAILY a small token of esteem, recognition, and why not regard them with flowers, chocolate, a nice gesture.
NEXT TIME: Learn to roll with the punches.
